MetaChef MetaChef is a software company that provides 3D products and solutions for education, marketing, and research. Our solutions are used in interactive teaching materials, sales presentations, online marketing, and product development, among other things. Customers have access to the online platform, which can be used anytime and anywhere. This helps us to better explain our customer stories.

MetaChef LAB

MetaChef LAB is our business department for R&D. In this unique LAB we work on the world of digital food. Using the latest technologies we help our clients tackle important issues in their business. Thereby, we can make their work smarter and more effective.

Technologies and developments in AR, VR, robotics, AI and digital twins are key within MetaChef LAB. Here we research and validate our own developments within the scope of food and agriculture.

Client-specific challenges within industry, retail and education have their own special development program. The most promising challenges will be tackled in collaboration with Dutch and German universities in a long term development program.

Advisory board

For our Education business unit, MetaChef has appointed an advisory board consisting of a select group of experts from the food, agriculture and technology fields. We think it is important that talented young people, teachers and trainers are able to work with innovative and fascinating educational materials again and again.

Digital Food Factory

MetaChef is located in the Digital Food Factory: the water tower of the former Menko textile factory in the historic Roombeek district in Enschede. Since 2021, the building has been shared with Het Foodatelier and DiDutchThe three companies complement each other from their own expertise and a shared passion for food and technology.

Smart, effective and committed

In the Digital Food Factory, strategists, designers, and developers work on commercial issues that are directly or indirectly related to food. From growth strategies, packaging design, and product development to innovative 3D solutions. The location is equipped with, among other things, a development kitchen, a technical workingplace, a VR lab and a 3D factory.
